The Society’s complete mission statement.

With thanks and praise to God Almighty, be it known that the Nathanael Greene Society is established for the purpose of mentoring men in the esteemed cultural and folk traditions of America, with a particular reverence for the heritage of the great state of North Carolina. Our mission is to engage men actively in the local community, churches, and various civic organizations, thereby fostering a robust sense of community and civic duty.

We dedicate ourselves to the promotion of the reading of the great literary works of America and the study of authors whose writings have shaped the fabric of our society. By so doing, we aim to cultivate intellectual growth and a profound appreciation for our national heritage.

Moreover, it is our purpose to develop the skills and virtues of our members, equipping them to be citizens of integrity and leaders of wisdom, steadfast in their commitment to the common good and the principles of liberty. With humble reliance upon the providence of Almighty God, we strive to uphold these values, knowing that through His guidance and blessing, we shall prosper in our endeavors and serve as faithful stewards of His creation.
